2022 ICOMOS AGA and ICTC Annual Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand

The ICOMOS Cultural Tourism Committee held its 2022 Annual Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on October 26, 2022 at the sidelines of the 2022 ICOMOS Annual General Assembly with attendees from six continents joining via Zoom.

During the AGA, Resolution AGA 2022/14 - Adoption of the ICOMOS International Charter for Cultural Heritage Tourism was presented, with voting from October 31 to November 6, 2022. ICTC had at least fifteen members attending the AGA.

On October 30, 2022, ICTC President Fergus Maclaren, VP Celia Martínez Yañez, and Secretary General Ivan Henares present “The Draft ICOMOS International Cultural Heritage Tourism Charter: Its role in addressing current and future challenges confronting pilgrimage” at the 2022 ICOMOS Scientific Symposium.
